Oolong tea is known as "monkey picked" tea. Originating from the Fujian province of China.
Legend has it that monks trained monkeys to climb the tea trees and reach the choicest leaves thus ensuring the finest quality.
They probably disbanded the practice after monkeys decided to unionize. Never pick a fight with a monkey, let alone a pack of monkeys. Having feces flung at you is the least of your worries.
But monkey picked tea sounds far more appealing than Kopi Luwak, which is regarded the worlds most expensive coffee.
The beans used in the production of this dark and bitter brew have been eaten, partially digested and defecated by the civet. A cat-like animal closely related to the mongoose.
According to Business Insider prices range between $35 and $100 per cup.
It probably explains why Larry the Barista charges Emmet Brickowski $37 in the Lego Movie for his morning brew. Cafes in Bricksburg are serving Kopi Luwak and I'm wondering what a Lego version of a civet looks like?
